Situated in a landmark location within the Dulwich Hill Station Precinct, this development underwent several design iterations before the final approved scheme was settled upon by all stakeholders. The design approach, developed in consultation with the council, aimed to ensure that the proposed development was of appropriate form and scale for the uniquely challenging site. One key consideration was to ‘mask’ the existing boarding house development to the south, which was the tallest building in the precinct and had established undesirable precedents.

The development is positioned at the highest point along Wardell and Dudley Street in Marrickville/Dulwich Hill Station, making it visible from various perspectives. The site is located directly on the approach aligned with Dudley Street, visible from Wardell Road as one crosses the Railway Bridge. Consequently, the longest boundary facades will remain prominent until the northern neighbor redevelops their site. Approval was granted for twenty-five residential units, a ground floor retail suite, and rooftop common open space.
