Description:
The architectural design concept comprises a three-story podium base with a seven-story tower rising above it. The podium is designed in a trapezium-shaped plan, creating a strong and grounded base that responds to the site’s geometry. Above this, the tower is also trapezium-shaped in plan but inverted relative to the podium, generating a dramatic architectural tension between the two forms.
This inversion results in the upper tower levels cantilevering beyond the podium footprint, creating bold floating edges that give the impression of a hovering mass. These overhanging sections are supported by a series of sculptural column elements that extend from the ground plane up to the underside of the tower. These columns are not only structural but are also designed as expressive, sculptural features that define the building’s presence at the pedestrian level.
Together, the interaction between the grounded trapezoidal podium and the floating inverted tower form establishes a dynamic and striking architectural language. The result is a compelling built form that enhances the ground-level experience with permeable edges and celebrates the verticality of the tower through its floating, sculptural silhouette.
